Standard Cognition beats Amazon to cashierless store in San Francisco

Startup Standard Cognition today announced plans to open a cashierless store in San Francisco in the coming days. Named Standard Market, the store will operate with limited hours and is a testing site for artificial intelligence that uses cameras to track the movement of shoppers throughout a store.
